Tardes Doradas

The sunset from here is gorgeous. Such an amazing place.

Those sunsets and the views were my favourite parts. I also loved the toucans. The pool is gorgeous, and there are plenty of seats in the shared kitchen area. Our room didn’t have a kitchen, though the rooms are thoughtfully laid out to give each one a bit of privacy while still being open air. The place is quiet and feels secluded, even though it’s near town. It’s a good little spot for the price. A few practical things: the driveway is extremely steep, and the small parking area makes it tricky to turn around before heading back down. I wouldn’t call it especially walkable, though Quepos itself didn’t feel very walkable to me either. Our AC couldn’t keep up during the day and barely managed at night. The owners responded quickly and sent someone twice after we messaged, which was attentive of them, but the problem still wasn’t fixed. We were leaving the next day, so we didn’t ask them to come back. Hopefully it gets sorted.

Being here felt like stepping away from the noise and rush of everyday life and into a little paradise in nature. Its beauty brought me peace, calm, strength, and happiness, and gave me a chance to reconnect with myself. I really recommend visiting Tardes Doradas for a special moment of inner peace.

Katherin and Tony made us feel very welcome with their excellent service. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the pool was big and very clean. Prices were reasonable too. Highly recommend it!
