Hotel Samara Paraíso

We saw monkeys every day, along with local birds, and the wildlife around the pool was amazing. The hosts were friendly and helpful, too. Our room had air conditioning, which is a must for us, and a full kitchenette that helped us save a lot of money. Hotel Samara Paraiso is a nice place to stay.

The owners are absolutely lovely, though don't tell them too often 😊. We stayed in a standard room and it worked fine for us; the separate rooms are meant to be even better. It's a quiet spot in the forest, surrounded by monkeys and other wildlife, about a 15-minute walk into Samara. The owners don't offer a restaurant or breakfast, but the rooms are set up for cooking your own meals. I'd happily come back.

We were welcomed with breakfast they'd prepared for us: fresh fruit, good eggs, and avocado toast. The houses were clean and well equipped, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The pool is small, but lovely under the trees with monkeys around. It's close to Samara while still feeling peaceful in the forest. Thanks again for a great stay 🙏

Cindy, the owner, couldn't have been sweeter or more knowledgeable about Samara, and the staff were just as lovely. Our clean bungalow sat among the Costa Rican jungle, so it was quiet and peaceful. The kids loved swimming in the pool while my husband and I relaxed, and breakfast each morning was tasty with delicious fresh fruit. The beach was only a few minutes by car, or less than a 10-minute walk. My family and I loved our stay at Hotel Samara Paraiso. Thanks, Cindy! I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Samara.
