Breakfast was delicious, the service was lovely, and we had plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The room itself was really nice, with a comfy bed, clean linens, air conditioning, and a nice pool and lots of parking. There was one unsettling mix-up: the first key opened a room that was clearly occupied and had other guests’ belongings inside. We mentioned it, and they moved us to an empty room. No other issues, and we’d stay again.

The lawn area was pleasant and breakfast was good. For the price, though, the room felt very basic, with a very old interior.

The pools were enjoyable, and we had fun watching the iguanas and picking mangoes from the trees. The staff were kind, and breakfast was good. Our room was basic but okay. The sheets wouldn’t stay tucked over the mattress, so they kept coming loose whenever we moved, which got annoying. We were near the entrance, where trucks came onto the property between 5 and 8 pm. Then at 5 am, the truckers started their workday, and it was really noisy.

The grounds and pool area are lovely, and there were beautiful six-foot iguanas all around. We’d just left Florida after being flooded, and learned this place had also had six feet of water about six weeks earlier. They’re still rehabbing it, and all the beds are new.

The room had a neglected feel. The shower-side windows were filthy, and I killed two large roaches in the bathroom. The loose faucet there wouldn’t give us any water. I reported it but got no help, and even though there was plenty of availability, they didn’t offer us another room.
