The rooms are spacious enough and have a kitchen, and the staff are very helpful. There's a nice trail behind the resort leading up to a well-maintained maize. It's a great place, more like a resort. Just don't follow Google onto the rough road. There's a good paved road that takes you there.

Wildlife all around the property was one of our favorite parts, and we could step straight from our door onto a path or trail to explore. The location felt quiet and tucked away but was convenient too, around seven minutes by car from town and about 20 minutes from the cloud forest parks and attractions. Our cottage was spacious, comfortable, and well arranged, with everything needed for an easy stay. Having a small kitchen meant we could cook and didn't have to eat out every meal. The separation from other guests also made it feel peaceful and personal. The pool was extremely cold. In the heat, that wasn't actually too bad, and some people might like it. Breakfast didn't feel like good value, though there are simple alternatives: The Open Kitchen is a short drive away, or you can buy food at the market across the street and make your own. Those were minor downsides, not dealbreakers. We'd absolutely recommend this relaxing, well-located place.

The gardens and setting really are beautiful, but our stay didn't match the promise of quiet and comfort in the reviews. We chose the property for its greenery and peaceful location, yet House #1 sits directly beside the main road and traffic noise kept waking us through the night. We walked around and saw that the other cabins are set farther back and much quieter. Since we'd booked four nights, we told management about the noise before settling in, but the only suggestion was to buy earplugs. In our view, Cabin #1 shouldn't be rented as a quiet nature stay when the constant road noise makes it so hard to rest. The place has potential, but the lack of support and the expectation of peace left us disappointed.

The front desk person was so sweet and helpful, and I liked that everyone has their own cabin. There's a pleasant trail to walk, a nice view, and we saw some critters. It was peaceful, with a supermarket just outside where you can buy snacks. The pool is nice, though the water is a bit cold. After a long, hot day, I'm sure it feels refreshing. One thing I'd avoid is the laundry service. Our clothes didn't smell as if any detergent had been used.
