Fuego Lodge

The yoga deck was a highlight for me, with classes offered every day and a lovely way to start the morning. I extended my stay more than once because I was having such a good time. The hotel is beautiful, the pool is great, and the rooms are stylish and very clean. It's just minutes from everything in Santa Teresa. The staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

We had a pool-view room that also looked toward the yoga studio building, and it worked out perfectly. People using the pool didn't disturb us. The place feels like a little patch of paradise among the busy surf town, surrounded by palms, flowering plants, birds, squirrels, and lizards. When we accidentally caused a problem for the lodge, the crew sorted it out with a smile. You can't ask for more from vacation accommodation.

The price is very affordable, and for that cost our room was clean and comfortable, good value overall. Fuego Lodge is small and cozy, centrally located on the main street, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, though it could use more cleaning. Bugs and other critters were the main drawback. We found them in several parts of the property, which feels quite exposed. Some renovation and pest control would improve the experience. It's a decent place for the price, but bring OFF spray.

We were welcomed so warmly, and the front desk staff were especially kind and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend it!
