Ibis Tamarindo Condos and Beach Club

Our last day at this lovely Ibis 7 condo in Tamarindo. Rafa was very helpful when we arrived, the staff have been so accommodating, and the security men were wonderful. We walked to the beautiful beach at Langosto beach club every day. The drinks and breakfast were fine, though there are plenty of other good restaurants nearby. Enea’s Italian and the newly opened Tabu are both just a 10 minute walk away. There's lots to do in town, and we'll be back.

We stayed in #4 and really liked the condo. Rafa was a big help arranging excursions, transfers and a private meal.

The unit itself is spacious, clean and lovely. We often spotted monkeys from the porch in the morning, and the surf school at The Langosta Beach club was great. But road noise was a big problem for us. The walls are paper thin, and trucks and motorcycles on the main road made it hard to work from the nice balcony during my two week stay. The noise seems to fade around 2am, then starts again around 4:30/5am. The internet wasn't reliable either. Also, I wouldn't eat at the Langosta Beach club. The food is overpriced and not very good.

We had a blast here. Langosta Beach Club across the street was wonderful, with cabanas to enjoy, just remember to reserve one. The food was great. It's an easy walk to other restaurants and shops along the street or beach, and the place felt clean, secure and well located.
