Lizette looked after the house and made us excellent breakfasts, and Cristina, our concierge manager, and Adriana, the Guest manager, were always available whenever we needed them. The house was fully equipped, and its social area was comfortable and nicely decorated. We came with our three kids, their spouses, and seven grandchildren. The six rooms each had a full bathroom and were separate from one another, which gave everyone privacy. The views from the house were astonishing, and the villa in the hills near Tamarindo Beach and the city looked much better in person than in the pictures. The experience was above our expectations, and we hope to do it again soon.

Our group of 14 spent five nights here, and now we’re sorry to be leaving. The main building, with glass doors all around, has gorgeous spaces for gathering. Six Casitas are arranged around it on a hill overlooking Tamarindo and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It’s a great central base for different activities.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the 360-degree views were breathtaking. The area felt very safe, and my wife and I took morning walks every day. The Wi-Fi worked well, as did the outdoor Bluetooth speakers and satellite TV, which was handy for sports fans like me. We arrived two weeks after the border reopened in November. The place was spotless, well maintained, beautifully landscaped, and recently built. I could go on and on. We’ll definitely return, rent a car, and stay here with a few other friends or couples.

The views at Casa Puesta Del Sol are out of this world, and the house itself is beautiful with everything you could want. It was immaculately clean, and the team were friendly and super responsive. I’d recommend staying here to anyone. We can’t wait to come back.

The hill up to the villa was treacherous, whatever the weather, and even worse in the rain. Our group got stuck several times on rainy nights, which was terrifying. In September 2022, I wouldn’t recommend driving yourself up there. The house was spotless when we arrived, just minutes from town, with an incredible private pool, outdoor deck, and views. The six private casitas and main house are great for large groups. Cristina from the Concierge Team was a lifesaver for coordinating everything remotely. She was always available on WhatsApp, made changes quickly, and arranged transport for all 11 of us in advance. Every driver was on time and easy to work with. She also planned my offsite birthday dinner and extras like balloons and cake, and did an amazing job. We hired the house mom Lisseth to cook for the week, and every meal was fresh, tasty, and ready when agreed. The food kept getting better; she even made midday snacks, fresh pico, and guacamole. If you’re considering a chef here, absolutely hire Lisseth. I’d highly recommend Casa Puesta Del Sol.
