The Coast Beachfront Hotel

The Coast Beachfront Hotel lived up to the glowing reviews. It was spotless and very well cared for, from the rooms and pool to the grounds and beach. Housekeeping timed our room cleaning for when we were out, so each morning we came back to a clean suite, and breakfast delivered to the room was a lovely touch. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and at the edge of town. It felt quiet and private, while shops and lots of places to eat were only steps away. We chose it for the location and staff and were glad we did. This was our most memorable vacation, and we’ll come back to The Coast.

Our room wasn’t oceanfront, but it was still just right. The staff were incredibly kind, breakfast was really fresh, and the pool was a perfect temperature. We had quiet, private beach access, with everything else an easy walk away.

If you want a quiet, intimate boutique place right on the beach, this suited us perfectly. The rooms faced the beach and were spotless and well equipped, and security was good. Nights were peaceful since it’s a little away from central Tamarindo, though town is an easy walk and there are three great restaurants within five minutes. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and remembered our names. Breakfast was brought to the room every morning. They don’t serve eggs, so we bought some and cooked them in the kitchenette. The pool was lovely too. It was our first stay, and we’ve already booked for next year.

It’s clean and pretty, though not fancy, and town is within walking distance. Since the heat got to us and we didn’t have a car, we rented a golf cart for a couple of days and had a blast. There’s no restaurant on site, but the beach club next door has a restaurant, bar and spa, and we tried all three. We loved our stay.
