The rooms were generally nice, but room 203 needs a few repairs. The bathroom light switch over the sink is broken, and the shower drain was clogged, so I had to stand in 2" of water. The bath sink faucet is also very loose and might break. Just letting you know so it can be fixed.

The family room for four was a little small, but it worked fine. The bathroom needs some repairs, and the fridge was dirty. Reception was closed when we got there, so contact the hotel if you’ll arrive after 2pm. Someone from the restaurant helped us check in. The parking lot is closed for now because the sidewalk is being repaired.

It was an okay stay, with comfortable beds, fresh sheets and towels, and working AC. But the room hadn’t really been cleaned: the toilet was dirty, there were no garbage bags, and the pillows had mildew. There was no hot water, the pool was green and out of service, and the TV didn’t work. Loud drunk people at the hotel bar kept going until 3 am, and it was hard to find anyone to pay.

The one letdown was the showers in the rooms had no hot water, so I can’t give it five stars. Otherwise, it’s clean and quiet, with great staff and good value. The park is a short walk away, and I’ll stay here again when I’m in Playa Uvita.

The location was really convenient, close to the national park and a great restaurant. Our first room flooded with toilet water, but the second one was okay. There’s no hot water in the rooms, so we had cold showers. They had a coffee maker but no coffee.
