Orelvis, the waiter, was especially attentive, always around to answer questions or help with anything I needed. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. The restaurant served delicious food, with a wide choice of Cuban and international dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean, roomy bathroom, a comfortable bed, and everything I needed. The air conditioning worked perfectly, a big plus in Cuba's heat. I enjoyed my stay from the start and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Ciego de Avila.

The prices were excellent, with plenty of food, alcohol, and soft drinks to choose from. It's a clean, pleasant hotel with friendly staff, and the manager helped sort out a couple of minor problems.

A real disappointment. The hotel is disrespectful and very expensive, with no coffee or decent breakfast. There's no hot water, and they don't start the generator because they say there's not enough fuel. The staff seem interested only in making money, with no professionalism at all. A real ho.

The drinks at the bar weren't very good, maybe because the rum and coke was made with Coca-Cola. I think the usual sugarcane cola would have tasted better. Dinner was a set menu instead of a buffet, which I appreciated since I was tired of buffets, and we heard live music while eating. I had grilled pork with congri (bean rice), then strawberry ice cream. Breakfast was bread, ham, cheese, and a plain omelet. I went on a group tour in February 2024, and this was my favorite hotel in Cuba. Both inside and out, it was beautiful, and I slept well in a very comfortable room.
