Hostal Portada Las Cuevas

I’m Cristian, from Padua in Italy, and I got back from Cuda just a few hours ago. I spent three nights at this family-run place. Everyone was welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was good, and the lobster was excellent too. For pizza, I’d suggest La Squina, a very simple restaurant that serves decent pizza. Just ask the owners, who still run it themselves. I’d also recommend a horseback ride to the waterfall.

The terrace has fantastic views, and the hostel is right in the center. The lovely family gave us such a warm welcome. The place is furnished beautifully and comfortably, so we felt at home. The food was cooked with care and tasted great. We were very happy here and would love to return. Also, the host family's two children are so sweet and friendly.

We spent two nights here. The rooms upstairs are good, but the ones on the entrance floor are poor. We were downstairs, where the air conditioning was noisy and the bathroom had no window. That’s why I gave it a low score.

A simple but cozy place to stay in Trinidad. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good!
