The beach is the real highlight at Roc Arenas Doradas, with an easy, gentle slope into the water and plenty of umbrellas for shade. The grounds felt pleasant and never crowded, even with lots of guests, and everything was clean and well cared for. Food was good by Cuban standards, with enough choice for everyday meals. The staff were warm and attentive, always happy to help. A lovely, peaceful place to unwind in Varadero.

The beach was breathtaking, and the staff were my favourite part of the trip. Everyone was pleasant. Marleivys, our maid, went above and beyond, keeping things really clean and leaving some lovely arrangements. We ate well, including several meals at the beachside buffet, and the main buffet had plenty to choose from. Evening entertainment was a hit too, with live music and dancing. We had an amazing trip!

We came back to Roc Arenas Doradas for a second year and are already thinking about next year. This time we were upgraded to a suite, the food was even better, and the service was top-notch. Everyone was kind and attentive, and my wife's senior parents ended up delighted after being a little nervous about their first visit. On our first trip, our kids, who were 6 and 8, loved it. The beach is the most spectacular we've seen, and the food was good. Our room was clean too.

Never went hungry or thirsty, and the beach is the best! Maria and the coffee bar crew were wonderful, the service was friendly and helpful, and our maid did a great job. Special mention to the girls at the Mini Club. Love this place!

We were so happy with everyone, from our housekeeper Dainelys to the buffet servers Daylin and Diana, and Allen, Daisy, and the rest of management. The whole experience pleased us, and we'd definitely come back. We highly recommend this resort to our friends.
