It’s a quiet spot with beautiful views, and the room was simple, clean, and cleaned daily. But it’s quite remote, so we had to pay for an expensive taxi whenever we wanted to start a hike. The room was noisy, and the pool and terrace feel very small for the number of guests. The shared breakfast and dinner area wasn’t inviting. Breakfast was mediocre, mostly sweets. It wasn’t that bad, but there’s a lot of room for improvement, and if we return to Santo Antão, we’ll stay at another hotel.

The setting is lovely, with mountain views, banana fields, and lush greenery around Pousada Green Place. It was a very pleasant surprise and far exceeded our expectations. Its location also cuts down driving distances to the island’s main towns and trekking trails. The staff were welcoming and kind, and it’s a great place to come with family and friends.

The valley setting makes it harder to reach, but the views are amazing. There’s good food, a nice pool area, and friendly staff. Their English was not great, but decent. They’re quite slow, though: be ready to wait over an hour for food, even when there are no other guests.

There’s a decent little restaurant and a basic breakfast, and the staff are friendly. The owners speak some French and English. The place is beautiful, with amazing views, and the rooms are simple but clean. The WiFi wasn’t working at first, but they got it fixed on our last day.

It’s amazing value, and the staff are extremely helpful. The room and restaurant were very clean, and the pool was just the right size for a cooling dip after a short hike through the jungle-like terrain. The complimentary breakfast was so good!!! It was an excellent stay. By the way, the owner’s daughter is the beautiful Miss Cape Verde!
