Yria Residencial has a well-meaning hostess who makes a delicious breakfast, but my stay was a bad experience. My room at the bottom of the left hall had many problems, and the hostess did nothing to fix them while charging me full price. If anything goes wrong with your accommodation, expect no action and to pay the full amount anyway. Porto Novo has plenty of good places that will treat you with more care. I’d only consider Yria Residencial as a last option.

Yria is such a devoted, lovely host. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

Sandra and the owners are such friendly people. Sandra is a local tour guide, and she took us on a day trip to places we’d never have been able to see on our own. The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was amazing, with fresh coffee, fruit, tasty juice, homemade cake and donuts. In the evening, she and her mom took us to a beautiful beach, where we had dinner together. We learned so much about CV during our short stay. We’ll never forget it. Thank you!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and the place was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were mind-blowing. It was easily my best stay in Cabo Verde. If I ever return to the islands, I wouldn’t consider anywhere else. 10 stars!!! And GREAT TOURS

The people were very kind, and the place was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had free Wi-Fi, and breakfast was delicious, with papaya and homemade cake. Thanks for everything. We’ll be back very soon.
