PLESSBERG Apartments Plešivec

The second room was okay, and the furnishings were new and clean. But the room for five of us and our dog, four adults and one child, was tiny and dark. It combined the bedroom and living area, and the photos didn't show how cramped it really was. We had to move the dining table just to pull out all the beds. We'd booked two apartments for nine people and had given the ages. There wasn't enough bedding for the five of us. We had to ask several times before they brought more, despite having booked for five. Towels were an issue too: we were told two people would have to share one large towel. The staff were very unfriendly. Everything was arranged over WhatsApp at very short notice. We were told to bring snow chains and a snow shovel just an hour before check-in, when we were already on the way. The price-performance ratio was completely unacceptable.

The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a short, relaxing break. Bring your own food, though. There was a coffee maker, sink, microwave, oven, and cutlery. The kitchen cabinet wiring looked very unprofessional, even if it didn't give you a shock. The bathroom raised questions too: there's a socket near the floor and shower, presumably for the towel rail. Every shower felt like an adventure. A moisture-resistant socket would solve that worry. The region was very quiet, probably because it's mainly a winter destination. In winter, the place comes highly recommended, with a ski school and slopes nearby. We had a lovely visit and would gladly return.

Peaceful and quiet, with the ski slope close by and a well-equipped heated ski room. I recommend it 👍👍 A nice bit of peace and quiet 😉
