The room was unbearably hot at night, dark, and had no air conditioning. The mattress topper made the bed feel like a pyramid, and the pillows weren't comfortable. One towel had cement splashed on it. Worst of all, when we sat on the bed after arriving, one pillow smelled strongly of sweat. We had to put it in the bathroom so we wouldn't smell it. Breakfast, if it can be called that, came on a plate wrapped in foil, with no choice. The eggs were poorly cooked, and the coffee wasn't prepared; hot water and instant coffee were available instead. The owners don't speak English and gave the impression that our stay was a bother to them.

It’s about a ten-minute walk to the city centre, and this is a nice little pension run by a very welcoming, friendly owner. He even left us some snacks in the room. I’ve taken off a star for the uncomfortable sofa bed and because the language barrier made communicating with him a bit difficult.

The rooms are really nice, comfortable and quiet, with paintings on the walls. You do have to walk a few minutes to reach the old town. Breakfast is the one thing I’d change, since there aren’t any sweet options.
