It was just okay.

After touring the Czech Republic on our motorbikes, we finally got to properly unwind here and enjoy a really good meal. The owner was easygoing and very helpful. Compared with places I've stayed before, this was above standard. I was completely satisfied and would recommend staying here.

The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy, and quiet, and parking was available behind chip-operated gates. I also thought the quality was well worth the price. The food was fantastic in every respect, and I hadn't enjoyed a meal that much in ages. I heard several other guests say the same. There's a wide choice of dishes and draft beers, and the owner's wife works magic in the kitchen. The owner himself was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend the place and wish them lots of success going forward.

When the door lock broke in the middle of the night, we were stuck sitting on the doormat for about two hours, calling the only number we had. It turned out to be the restaurant's number, not the owner's. Once we reached him, we waited around another 30 minutes for him to arrive. He took our key without saying anything, apparently thinking he could open the door, but he couldn't. He didn't apologize or explain what was happening, just told us to go in through the restaurant. When we said we wanted to leave, he seemed shocked and got upset. Asking about a refund or compensation led to an aggressive argument, with him shouting and suggesting the broken lock was our fault and that we should pay him. That confirmed we didn't want to stay. We did get a refund for the remaining nights, but not for the first day. Contact by phone and the customer service before arrival were poor too. I can't recommend this place.
