Colatransport

The restaurant is tucked a little way inside, and I think you’d need a car to get there. It serves typical Czech food. We went on Wednesday with the team, and the menu had 4 to 5 dishes for each day. My burrito was okay, but I missed the heat. The Vyvar soup was amazing, I liked it a lot. A colleague had well-roasted ribs that tasted good, though they could be a bigger portion with more BBQ flavor. There were vegetarian options too: our vegetarian colleague had French fries with ketchup and fried cheese. I tried Kofula, and it was great as usual. Overall, the food was decent.

I won’t say much about the R word. What made my experience was Tereza Markova, an intelligent, ambitious, beautiful, young, vibrant, social, and all-inclusive lady. She was warm and kind to me, took time from her busy schedule to tell me about herself, Czech, and its culture, then got me an Uber to my next destination and refused a tip. She represents integrity, inclusivity, selflessness, and warmth, with so much more one could say. She deserves a promotion to manager, and even to be the manager’s boss. If I’m in Czech, I’d go back to Cola Transport if she were there.

The restaurant and hotel are tucked into the forest, with a horse parcours next door. Sometimes you can hear the horses, which is lovely. The room was clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was really tasty. There are wild animals on the walls inside the hotel, so if that bothers you, this may not be the place for you. The room gives you good quality for what it costs, but the adjoining-room sound isolation can be quite disturbing. Bring earplugs if you stay the night :)

We had beef goulash with potato pancakes, plus veal and chicken schnitzels, and the food was very tasty. Prices are reasonable, and the staff and service were nice. Colarestaurant is a large restaurant hidden in the forest, surrounded by nature. It’s calm and quiet, good for group events, including children, and celebrations. Sundays get very busy, so expect service delays.
