Hotel Pyramida

I really liked the greenery throughout the hotel, in the room and breakfast area. It made the place feel warm and homey. Our modern but cozy room had everything we needed, and the free minibar was a nice touch. The breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. There wasn't a huge selection, but the food felt fresh and homemade, with small changes each day. The staff were friendly and regularly checked that everything was okay. The location is great and easy to find. We did everything online before arriving, so check-in and check-out took no time on site. Having a code instead of key cards was a simple, smart idea, with no worry about losing anything. We had a lovely stay in Brno and will definitely come back next time.

We spent two nights here and were welcomed by a friendly administrator, who showed us to the room and explained everything. The room was bright, comfortable, and lovely, with live plants 🌷, plus a free minibar and snacks ✨. The buffet breakfast was delicious, filling, and varied. I booked one night and arrived at around 8 PM, but the reception had closed at 7 PM and the hotel relied on self check-in. We'd completed all the required online steps in advance and were told that an email with the room number and access code would arrive before 10 PM. Nothing had come through when we got there, so we spent almost an hour in the lobby trying to reach the hotel. There was a phone number on the door. A woman answered once, but hung up before I could finish explaining what was wrong. I called five more times and nobody picked up. Guests shouldn't be left waiting in the lobby without help after doing the required check-in steps. It made us feel completely abandoned. Very disappointing, and the hotel needs to improve its communication and support for late arrivals.

The walls and windows are really old, so you can hear people talking and walking in the corridors. The locks with dials don't work properly, and they turn off the coffee machine during breakfast. There are naked men walking in the corridors after showering in the shared toilet. This is more like a hostel, yet they charge the price of a four star hotel. Spare yourself the misery and avoid this place. It's a joke, worst experience ever.
