The room was clean and the price was good, so it was okay for one night. Getting there wasn’t easy, the location wasn’t good, and the area around the accommodation is very industrial.

It’s only a short walk from the center, and I had a very good stay at this guesthouse. The woman at reception was so nice, and the cleaner was lovely too. They even helped with my suitcases, which made me feel very welcome. I’d recommend it. From what I’ve read, the older reviews are out of date, and the standard has improved a lot lately.

The money they said would be refunded for the late-arrival card was never returned. When we checked out, there was nobody at reception and they didn’t answer our calls. Another guest told us staff wouldn’t come to reception until 5:00 pm. That capped off a disastrous weekend stay with friends, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend the place. The shared bathroom was filthy, cluttered, smelly, had no toilet paper, and only ice-cold water. Our room was messy and seemed to be cleaned only on request, and the kitchen was messy too. Despite a strict no-smoking policy, people smoked there a lot. It’s between factories, with very little lighting at night, so I wouldn’t walk there. I’d rather have slept in a tent under the open sky.
