Penzion Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was quite good, though there was no hot food, and they don’t have decaf coffee. For the price, it was okay. The street was very noisy at night. The booking.com listing said parking was free, but when we arrived the free parking turned out to be on the street. We couldn’t leave our bikes attached to the car, so the man took them into the garage, which we appreciated. We parked about 500 m from the hostel. In the room there was a kitchen, but no way to cook, which was strange. The toilet had an unstable seat that scared me when I sat down, and the sliding door had no lock.

The manager was really polite and nice, and the hotel is on a street leading toward the city center, right by the end of the tram line, so there’s no need to drive in. Wi-Fi was slow but worked. If you’re lucky, one of the two parking spots is free in front; otherwise you’ll need to park on the street or at a nearby lot. The rooms are small and have old equipment. The building was originally a house, not a hotel, and you can hear every footstep from people walking on the floor, so it’s not quiet at all. Breakfast is nothing special and less generous than at other hotels. It’s served in some kind of sportswear shop overlooking the garden. There’s no restaurant in the hotel. I’d give it three stars, but the price during a fair in Brno is just too high for what you get.

Simple accommodation, but perfectly okay and clean. There’s a winery and a parking lot too. The shared bathroom might be unusual, so be prepared for that.

The room was on the small side, but it was well looked after and the price was low. It’s in a central spot, too. Breakfast wasn’t hot, though there was plenty to choose from, including meats, cheese, fruit, vegetables, cereal, spreads, and bread.
