Hotel Amadeus

The centre is only a few minutes away on foot, and U dvou přátel, a nice restaurant/bistro, is just five steps from the hotel. The rooms were calm, and breakfast was fantastic, with homemade cake. Strong recommendation.

Parking is available across the street, though it’s street parking, and there are more spots nearby. The WiFi signal was really strong, and the breakfast was a lovely surprise: they set the table in your room ahead of time and bring fresh food prepared for you. The rooms are roomy enough to sleep and spend time in, with a comfortable, generously sized bed. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom, and they even left a welcome kit with shaving foam and a razor. The staff really went out of their way to make the stay great, and the common areas were just as clean. If you want to be treated like a king, stay at the Amadeus. A top-class experience, and the best option if you visit the city!

The receptionist was so nice and accommodating. The building feels a little old, but our room was very clean, from the linens to the towels. There’s even a kids’ room with decent toys. Breakfast was okay, and when we asked for eggs, they cooked them for us. A great experience.

You feel at home right away at Amadeus, a good fit if you like hotels with a personal touch in Budějovice / Budweis. It’s within walking distance of the city centre, the river, and the modern hospital. The room was comfortable and clean, with a large TV, and reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available from the buffet or by individual order.
