Penzion Hornička

Excellent accommodation at a very good price.

A really nice place, with lovely hosts. I'd recommend it!

The owner was helpful and accommodating, and even sent an SMS before we arrived with instructions for getting there. Breakfast and a parking space reserved for each room were included in the price. The breakfast had a great choice of hot and cold food, coffee, and juice. Since the guesthouse isn't right in the center, it's quiet, away from tourist crowds, and has a nice view of the city. We chose it based on client reviews and were glad we did. We'll definitely stay here on our next visit to Český Krumlov.

The morning view from the window was truly magnificent 👍. The location was excellent, parking was right beside the building, and the rooms were clean, though not very warm. The owner welcomed us in the evening when everyone else simply didn't answer their calls, and we're incredibly grateful for that. Breakfast, though, was terrible, from a rotten egg to sour milk. They even cleaned the coffee machine themselves. When we pointed out the rotten egg, the owner didn't apologize 😭. We'd asked the night before for vegetarian porridge, but what arrived was a water-soaked paste, completely inedible. This kind of service isn't worth 70 euros. It's okay for an overnight stay, but don't count on breakfast unless you're even 30 percent a gourmet.
