I’m not sure why the ratings are so high. The woman hosting me spoke no English or German at all, which was inconvenient. The room was dated, with cheap, old furniture, cracks and stains on the walls, and a dusty bedframe. The bathroom sink had a huge crack. There wasn’t any shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, hair dryer, or other amenity. There was an AC unit but no remote. It feels like this place has seen better days.

I’ve been coming back every year for the past 10 years. It’s a great little hotel in a great location, with great owners and staff.
