Penzion Tendr

At 2 in the morning, the administrator walked around knocking on every room door and waking people up. He was staying at the guesthouse too, and was noisy at night without being told to keep quiet. Then, when we paid, he took 300 crowns from us. On top of that, the shower wouldn't stay shut, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the sheets we got were torn and had no fastenings. The worst place I've ever stayed. I highly recommend it.

The owners are pleasant. The place itself feels like a difficult step back into the nineties, with hints of an even older time. I have a soft spot for this relic because of its setting, though I wouldn't want to live there. That wall lamp sums it up: its cord doesn't reach the socket right beside it. It's just there, like so many other relics.

The location is the best part, right by the cable car, with parking and a supermarket on the ground floor. It's a classic mountain guesthouse, with older furnishings, but it's warm, has hot water, and the beds are good. There's a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of fridges, a dining room with a sofa, and ski storage. Bed linen is provided, but not towels. The landlord was pleasant.

We had a lovely, cozy stay right below the ski slope. The owners were really pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend it.
