There’s plenty of coffee grounds in your morning cup, and plenty of noise to fall asleep to, sometimes as late as 4:00 in the morning. The room also holds onto a lot of heat, 27c, with no AC. There’s a real risk of electrocution too. Broken electrical appliances don’t get fixed, assuming they were put together properly to begin with. Dogs wander around the dining room unsupervised. At the front desk, the lady seemed completely disinterested. She wouldn’t end her loud speakerphone call to help a customer, and didn’t even acknowledge you until she hung up 10m later.

The sauna was great, and the kids loved the pool and gym. Staff were super nice, and both breakfast and dinner were yummy, though the meals got repetitive after 3 days off season. A few things were worn or broken, including some light bulbs, furniture, and one or two handles. Still, I had a very good experience. I guess no one can really blame them for maintenance falling behind after Covid.

Breakfast had a surprisingly good range of healthy choices, and the food in general was very, very good. The staff were always friendly and helpful. They even helped me ship the kids’ toys we forgot there, without any fuss or complaints. It’s a really cool place to stay, with a nice wellness area and a good masseuse. There’s also an outdoor playground for kids in the summer. Definitely worth visiting.

The sauna and wellness area are nice, but pretty small, maybe 5-6 people at most. If you’re not staying there, they won’t serve you food until 20+ etc. It doesn’t feel like a very customer-oriented approach.
