The place was tidy and we had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchenette. We could also store the roof box there, so it didn't have to come along on our trips. The drive up is the one small drawback: part of it is gravel and it's steep, so the car scraped on a pothole a few times. Still, it was manageable. We'd like to return one day, perhaps when our son is older.

We'd paid half the cost upfront, but then I developed inflammation in a tendon in my leg and could barely move. A mountain holiday didn't make sense in that condition, so even though we provided a medical report, the landlord wouldn't return the deposit. We then offered to come at another time and pay the higher prices, but were told we had no claim and the deposit would be kept. We couldn't make the stay happen, and I've never had this kind of experience before. A very strange way of doing business in 🌿.

The owner's friendliness and willingness went well beyond what you'd expect professionally. The accommodation was beautiful, clean, and peaceful, in a lovely part of the Šumava Mountains. I can highly recommend it!

Lovely, new, clean apartments with all the equipment you need. Outside there's a garden with a fireplace, seating, and a children's playground. The owner is nice, the price is good, and beautiful Šumava is all around :)
