The pool and cottage are lovely, and the location worked well. But the owners, a married couple, were around too often, and the interactions became more and more difficult. For the price, we expected basics like enough toilet paper, cleaning supplies, salt and pepper, and a made bed. None of those were included, and bed linen cost extra. We were also charged for water, which seemed odd when the owner was watering the flowers and garden on the property. We've rented cottages around the country for our summer holidays every year for 23 years and have never experienced this kind of approach.

Our children got sick, so the four families couldn't make the trip. We'd paid for the whole cottage and lost the full deposit of 10,000. We didn't ask for the money back, only for permission to come at another time, but that wasn't allowed.

The village itself is a bit dull, but we had a wonderful holiday. Slunovrat house is fantastic, and the people there were really friendly and helpful. We rented both floors for 10 people, and there was everything we needed. The house was clean and fresh throughout, including the sauna and jacuzzi. There's beautiful nature nearby, and Carlsbad is about a 20-minute drive away. It's a beautiful city. It's been 20 years since our last visit to the Czech Republic. It was lovely to be back.

Our family group of 7 adults and 2 children had plenty of room for a perfect week. The garden is large, with a fireplace, grill, and seating, and there's a beautiful pool too. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Five stars, no complaints.

The apartments feel luxurious and have wellness options. There are several large ski areas nearby, including Klínovec, Plešivec, and Potůčky. The garden pool was absolutely amazing.
