Hotel Panorama

The old photos and objects in the hallways and dining room gave the hotel character and helped us learn about Jáchymov's fascinating history. We also loved having dinner and beers on the outdoor terrace in the evenings, with the whole valley spread out from the terrace. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and breakfast each morning had an impressive range of choices. The hotel combines beautiful scenery with easy access to the town center and thoughtfully designed spaces. It made for a wonderful holiday.

My friend and I booked a room that day to start our ski season on a whim. Everything was confirmed, and when traffic delayed us on the drive to Jachimov, I called to say we'd arrive around 10 pm. The man asked me to call again as we got close. After eating, we called at about 11 pm to say we were half an hour away, but his phone was off. I tried several times without success. When we arrived at 11:40 pm, the hotel was completely shut, with no lights on. We rang the bell and called about ten more times, but got no response. This was insane and so rude. Yes, we were late, but we'd called ahead, he knew we were coming, and he had my number. We were out in the cold and snow at night trying to reach him, with no luck. Luckily, we found another hotel that was better, friendlier, and cheaper. Don't support these people.

The view in the photo is from the room. The owners were so welcoming and friendly that they made us feel at home. Great place.

We only went there for dinner, and it was delicious. The staff were really friendly. Thanks for a lovely time.
