Omnia Hotel Relax & Wellness

Dinner was excellent, with different options each day, and breakfast was amazing: great quality and plenty of choice. The hotel is modern, and our room was excellent and super clean. It could get too warm at times, though, so we had to open the window, especially at night. We also had trouble getting information because very few people spoke English. That wasn’t just a hotel issue, but a problem across the ski resort.

The staff were polite and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet had a nice range of salads, bread, cakes, and fruit. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, close to the Černá hora cable car station and not far from Stezka korunami stromů. Our room was clean and nicely appointed. The balcony didn’t have a spectacular view, but it was a pleasant place to unwind at the end of the day. The mini-fridge took several hours to cool properly, then kept our drinks cold.

The main problem was what happened during a company event: the restaurant was taken over, and hotel guests couldn’t use it for the rest of the week. Hosting an event is fine, but leaving all the guests to figure out dinner, with other restaurants fully booked, was unacceptable. The wellness area also fell far short of the marketing photos. The pool water was very cold, and the room was so loud that relaxing felt impossible, like someone was shouting in your ears. They really need sound deadening panels. The hotel itself is fine. The location is good, and the rooms are okay and do the job. But the overall experience was very poor. For a similar price, you can do a lot better elsewhere.

We were there in the off season. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful, and the clean rooms were big enough for us as a couple. Dinner had limited choice, though the food was good. Breakfast deserves an extra star 😀, with loads of buffet options and everything we tried tasting really good.
