The lady’s behavior was completely inappropriate. A week before our stay was due to start, she canceled our reservation, saying she’d arrange alternative accommodation. But when I checked with the promised guesthouse, they knew nothing about it and said they had no room. They also said nobody had contacted them about a reservation. I called the lady back at the Avalon house. She didn’t answer from my number, so I tried another one. She kept lying about the reservation and couldn’t even send an email with information about this nonexistent booking. Completely inappropriate behavior!

A truly unique place with the charm and spirit of the past. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and there’s a breathtaking view of Vajgar. You can even go out on a boat right from behind the Avalon House. It’s a beautiful spot for a very reasonable price, and I’d love to come back sometime.

The room was clean, and there’s a nice place to sit in the yard behind the house, right beside the pond. Parking is the downside.

It’s an old house, about 400 years old, that’s been beautifully renovated. It sits on a large plot with access to historic Vajgar Pond. The rooms are spacious and have kitchenettes, and there are plenty of tourist attractions nearby.
