For a family of four, the rooms are good enough and reasonably priced. They could use better upkeep, though. The location is a real plus, right by the river and public transport.

The place was okay in the end, but I can only give it two stars because it didn’t match the listing. It was supposed to have a separate bedroom, while the living area, bedroom, and kitchen were basically all one big room. The apartment I got also didn’t look like the photos. It wasn’t terribly dirty, but it wasn’t clean either. There were stains on the bedsheets, and I found someone else’s hair in the bed.

There was no toaster or coffee machine, and it was really difficult to open the safe where the key was kept.

The apartment was huge, bright, and clean, with balconies at both the front and back. It’s under two blocks from the metro, and a roughly 25-minute walk gets you to several spots in the old town. I’d read some negative reviews, but they didn’t match my experience. The staff didn’t seem especially rude to me. I think the difficulty was more about speaking English, and Czech wait staff aren’t known for being very friendly. I really liked the place.

We had a good stay overall, but there were quite a few things out of place. On arrival, we were short on comforters and towels, and there was no hand soap. The garbage room on the first floor was left open every day, making the entrance smell awful. We were also charged for breakfast even though an email confirmation said we wouldn’t be. The apartment’s location was convenient.
