For people who don’t need much, this place is fine, and the price is in line with the accommodation. The guesthouse is right in the center, with the obvious convenience but also a lot of traffic noise from a busy, narrow street. You could hear everything even on the second floor. The room had a retro feel. I’d have preferred a plain white wall instead of a photo poster, and the exposed wires and shower curtain didn’t look great. The bedding was clean, though I’d have liked a light summer blanket instead of one that felt nearly winter weight. The mattress was fine. Communication with the owner was easy, no deposit was needed, and payment was cash only on site. The cleaning lady was pleasant and always checked whether we needed anything.

The quality of the stay didn’t live up to the price.

For the price, it was a really pleasant surprise. The guesthouse is right in the center, and the room was clean and cozy, with its own bathroom. There was a slight garbage smell in the bathroom, but at that price it didn’t bother me much, and the staff were nice.

The rooms and hallway were clean, and the price was reasonable, but I wouldn’t choose this place again. The beds were very hard, the street was busy, as you’d expect in that location, and there was a leak in the bathroom. In the morning we traced the smell to a puddle around the bin under the sink. It was enough for our one night, though you can find a better stay for a similar price. I couldn’t reply to the owner’s response, so I’m adding this here: we arrived in the evening, unpacked quickly and went out, came back after 11 p.m., then left around 9:30 in the morning. If we’d had time to stay longer, we would have raised everything there, as we usually do.
