Penzion Na Americe

This place is a long way from the city, so make sure you have a car. I could find a shop nearby.

We only stayed one night, but we'd happily come back. The owner was lovely and helpful, and the property has several apartments, a well-kept garden, outdoor seating beside our apartment, and a grill you can rent. The bamboo in the garden is beautiful! The bathroom was lovely, though it was a shame it wasn't fully maintained. The children's climbing frame could use renovation too. There was a pool in the garden, but it was damaged and closed, so we couldn't use it. Most of the beds were comfortable, with one exception out of five.

Our other accommodation cancelled, so we had to find somewhere quickly. We booked through booking at short notice and arrived around 8:00 PM, but the owner welcomed us without any trouble and was very nice and helpful. We needed just one night before moving on, so we didn't try the breakfast. The double room wasn't available anymore, but the owner kindly gave us a triple room instead. It was clean. The beds sat a bit low, and the mattresses were very soft and slightly saggy, though more than okay for a single night. The walls are thin, and the neighbors were moving something around six in the morning, but it was bearable.

Breakfast was a letdown for the price. We had to ask for rolls, there was no butter or jam, and even after we asked, there was no milk for the coffee. One of us ended up with toast and coffee while the other got nothing. We arrived at the agreed time, yet people who came later were served first. We definitely won't stay at this guesthouse again. The room was tiny, with nowhere to put a suitcase. The bed was only 30 cm high with the mattress, so getting up was difficult. The double bed was against the wall, leaving the other person to climb over. There was a small table and two fabric-covered wooden cubes instead of chairs, and the TV was off to the side of the beds. There were only two hangers instead of a wardrobe, nowhere to put soap in the shower, and only small towels rather than bath towels.
