Boutique Hotel Corso

The spa was lovely, and the hotel is modern, central, and quiet, with comfortable beds and lots of good restaurants nearby. I’m taking off a star because the room wasn’t properly clean. There was a half-full juice bottle left by previous guests in the fridge, and the bathroom still had hair and a shower gel cap.

The room stayed a bit warm even with the heating off, so I had to sleep with the window open. Breakfast was varied, though not always in a good way. Otherwise, it’s a lovely little hotel in a great location, very comfortable, with a nice pool area, sauna, and steam room.

The staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. They helped us find suitable parking and suggested places we should see during our three-night stay. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are beautifully furnished, and the bed was especially comfortable. Breakfast was included, perfectly adequate, and served in a lovely room. A delightful place to stay.

The breakfast was good, and the woman working in the morning was helpful, but the rest left me disappointed. We arrived around 6pm and asked about using the parking reserved for the hotel. We couldn’t, because it was only for customers while checking in, which I’d never heard of, so we parked about 10 minutes away. Later, my girlfriend and I went to the spa to relax, but there was nobody at its reception. The pool area was small but cozy. As soon as we went in, I saw a man walking around naked, then sitting in his chair without seeming to care that other people were there. I tried again to find someone at spa reception and couldn’t. We left disappointed. We’d come for a relaxing weekend, and the hotel didn’t provide that. I’m giving three stars for breakfast and the helpful morning staff, but I wouldn’t return.
