The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and Daniel deserves a special thanks for welcoming us at reception when we arrived and looking after us during the stay. The room and spa areas were very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hotel very much, especially the delicious food and the variety of dishes at the open buffet.

I have serious doubts about returning after the confusing experiences with the restaurant and bar. At the restaurant, I ordered a “pork neck steak” and asked whether it came with a side. I was told sides had to be ordered and paid for separately, so I ordered one and ate. The next day, my friends ordered a dish without asking about sides and were given one at no extra charge. I don't understand why I was told to pay separately for mine. Was I misled into ordering a side with my meat? The bar pricing was just as unclear. I ordered mulled wine and got a very small glass for €7. That seemed extremely expensive, but since different things can happen on vacation, my friend and I each had three of those small glasses. The following day, I asked a woman in a group how much she'd paid for a large glass. It was also €7, despite having twice as much wine. There was also the hookah. One evening, they said they couldn't prepare it because they had no mouthpiece. An hour later, a guy told us they actually had no tobacco, but would buy everything the next day so we'd have one. At 8:00 PM the next day, I found there was no hookah: they hadn't bought the tobacco and said nothing was working that day (December 26). I spent 40 minutes going into the city to buy tobacco myself, finally finding it at 8:30 PM. By the time I got back, the bartender who'd promised to prepare the hookah had gone home. I somehow convinced the woman still working there to make it with my tobacco. Thank you.

The forest view from our room was stunning, and the natural surroundings made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was nice and clean, and we also enjoyed the spa. We were especially pleased with the pet-friendly setup: there's a special area for dogs, bins with bags, and staff regularly asked whether our dog needed water. We were very happy with our stay and can recommend it. It's well worth the money.
