The location was the best part, just one building away from Vridlo. Our room was spacious and quiet, with a lovely little balcony and an amazing view. We also appreciated the shower and the capsule coffee machine, plates, and cutlery in the room. The young Czech man at reception was polite and helpful, and we loved our stay. We’d like to return to KV. Just keep in mind that reception isn’t open around the clock. I believe it’s staffed from 8am-8pm, so late arrivals might find nobody available and the main entrance locked.

On October 11th 2025, I left a note asking for the room to be cleaned, but nobody came. We got no fresh towels and no room service, despite the high charge. I also felt unsafe because there was no security and anyone could come and go. I ended up going out to buy a towel myself :-) At check-in the man was very slow. When I asked his name, he said “Peter,” but another employee told us they only had Daniel among the staff. Either way, neither Daniel nor Peter was at the front desk. I don’t recommend staying here unless you’re happy to buy towels every day :-)

Nella at reception made me feel so welcome. She was friendly, helpful, always smiling, and gave me good suggestions for things to do around the city. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the hotel is in a perfect location. I had a lovely stay at Hotel La Bohemia in Karlovy Vary and would happily come back.

Nela made our two-night visit feel special. She was a wonderful ambassador for both the hotel and the town, gave us great advice, and made us feel like VIPs. We had a lovely room and a great holiday here. The hotel is a perfect setting, thanks to Nela, the manager.

We chose the cheapest room and were surprised by how spacious it was, with plenty of room to move around and relax. The bed was really comfortable, and the young man at the front desk was so welcoming. We don’t speak Czech, but we managed to understand each other through our broken Czech and his English. The place was clean and nice, and the location is great. Definitely recommend it.
