Pension Villa Maria

The rooms were clean and the mattresses were perfectly fine. The guesthouse is up a hill, though, so I wouldn't recommend it to wheelchair users or older people who struggle to breathe. Otherwise, it's a place I'd happily recommend.

You can find a small supermarket close by, and there's a kettle in the room, though no kitchen. For somewhere to stay if you're not planning to cook, it's hard to beat. The house sits about 120 meters uphill from the river, and some routes are quite steep, so it may not suit people with mobility problems. The setting above the old town is peaceful, with parking, a big bedroom and a very roomy bathroom. Highly recommended!

We spent one night here a few weeks ago, two adults and our two dogs, and everything worked out smoothly despite the language barrier. The room was spotless and roomy, and we especially liked having a fridge and access to the terrace. We enjoyed the convenience and would gladly return 🤗

Mrs. Dragomira deserves a special thank you. We stayed with our family from 31/12/22 to 06/01/23, and the hosts were lovely. Our two-bedroom room with a living room was clean and peaceful. We'll definitely come back!
