Penzion U Bečvy

We’re already planning a winter ski trip, hoping it’ll be as lovely as the summer was. There were too many places recommended by Mrs. Janáčková to fit into our stay, so we’d be glad to come back. She was pleasant and helpful again, and suggested interesting cycling routes with beautiful views as well as places to visit nearby. I first came to Pension U Bečvy in Karolinka with my family in summer, and was so satisfied that I returned with friends for a men’s cycling trip. Everyone agreed I’d chosen well. We had a great summer stay here. There’s plenty to do in the garden, from ping pong and ball games to barbecues under the pergola, and it’s also a handy base for hiking in the mountains or swimming in the nearby Lake Balaton. The guesthouse is well equipped, with Penny and a restaurant right across the road, so food is easy to find. The owner was really nice and helpful. We’d love to come back 😊.

I’ve been back several times with friends, in both summer and autumn. It’s a great base for trips, and we love returning. There’s a big garden with covered seating and a barbecue, a shop across the street that’s open 24/7, and a sauna in the basement.

This is a handy place to stay when exploring the area, where there’s always something to do, like hiking or skiing. The guesthouse is beautifully furnished and in a lovely mountain setting, with Penny market directly across the street and restaurants nearby. The owner is a very helpful, caring lady, and the other guests were pleasant. The price is accessible to everyone.
