Penzion Ponte

The rooms are quite cold, and the toilet is dirty. In the morning, the maid woke me by making a racket in the hallway, with her mobile phone blaring a TV series on top of that.

The company booked this guesthouse for our business trip, and it worked out great. We slept well in a quiet location, with a clean room, daily cleaning, TV, Wi-Fi, and a large bathroom. Right next door is a great Italian restaurant where we had a very good meal and drinks in the evening. Thanks to the owner for accommodating our specific request. 👌

We arranged a ground-floor room about a month ahead because we needed good wheelchair access for someone continuing on to a planned operation. Both the owner and receptionist assured us there'd be enough room for three people and the wheelchair. Then, after a three-hour journey, we were told on the day that our room was upstairs on the first floor, reached by a spiral staircase with no elevator. Great communication. My son and his companion ended up out on the street, and we rushed around that evening trying to find somewhere else to stay.
