Hotel Labe

The staff are very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. My wife and I plan to stay here whenever we visit Litoměřice. You can walk easily from the hotel, and there’s a full view of the town. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

The rooms are clean, and while the bathroom’s a little small, that wasn’t a problem for me. It can get a bit noisy, though. Still, it’s a pretty nice hotel, and I’d recommend it.

For 800 Czech Koruna, including breakfast for a double room, this is a very good budget choice. Breakfast is a cold buffet with cereals, cheese, and meats, plus coffee, regular or herbal tea, and hot chocolate. My room was small but had the things I needed, and all the bathroom fittings worked properly. It was spotless. The receptionist welcomed me warmly and suggested a room on the tenth floor, with lovely distant views over the old town. The hotel is a large high-rise surrounded by football grounds, tennis courts, recreation areas, and familiar supermarket chains. Inside, the reception itself is tiny, tucked into a corner just behind the entrance. From Litomerice mesto train station, it’s about a ten-minute walk. The station is southeast of the old town and serves short-distance trains from Usti nad Labem and buses from across the Czech Republic. As you leave the station, you can see a surviving stretch of the old town’s bastions, and Hotel Labe is hard to miss beyond them, with its name in capital letters high on the building.

The Wi-Fi was good, and supermarkets were about a seven-minute walk away. There was no refrigerator in the room. Like other hotels in the Czech Republic, this one had no air conditioning.
