It has a lovely, authentic feel, so don't let the somewhat dated decor put you off. Everything was very clean and clearly well looked after.

The room was large and nicely decorated, and there's a very good location. A nice restaurant is in the same building too.

Breakfast was decent, and the room itself was comfortable, with a big room and a comfortable bed. We had a view towards the castle and used the lift. The shower was OK, though there weren't many electrical sockets.

The owners clearly make sure the service and the whole program run the way guests want. The staff kept our glasses topped up with locally made beer, brewed right in front of us. The food and service were superb, and the whole experience was so good I'd give it six stars if I could. The Old Slavic feast with roast pork and a music show is what I'd recommend most. Well done! I was with a Russian tour group, though I don't speak Russian. If you're into pork, the piglets were great, and seeing them dressed up and brought out of the cooking pits was quite an experience. It was a really good time, and they even invited us to join the sing-along.;-)
