Hotel DaVinci

I've stayed here 6 times on business trips, since it is closer than travelling from Plzen. It's a privately owned hotel just south of the centre of Marianske Lazne. The rooms are clean, though not spacious, and each has a fridge, TV, desk and chair. The restaurant serves local dishes. It isn't top tier, but the portions are good, the menu has a nice range, and the food is tasty. The bar staff are polite, although few speak much English. German is the second language in this part of CZ. The scenery nearby is pleasant, and the roads are fun if you enjoy driving and looking for the less travelled route.

There's a huge parking lot just across the street, and it costs 50 Kč. The hotel was very clean, breakfast tasted great, and the guy at reception was polite and gave us suggestions for what to see nearby.

The front desk guy really made the place for us. He was kind and helpful, and took the time to point out things to see and do. We loved our stay: the room was comfortable, breakfast was good, parking across the street was cheap, and there were free drinks in the room. I'd love to come back in spring.

The hotel was convenient for us because it's close to the train station. It's about a 15 minute stroll to the city center, and if you go one block beyond the main road, you can walk through the park. Breakfast was good, though it stayed busy right up to closing. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable and nice and warm. The shower worked well, but seemed to have a fixed temperature.
