A relaxed village pub with a friendly feel. The service was good, the food tasty, and they had Gambrinus on tap.

We picked Hotel Pod lesem in Merklín because it was along our route, and it turned out to be a great choice. The owner was smiling, funny, and kind from the moment we arrived, and she cooks wonderfully. Everything worked, and the rooms were cozy, spotless, and smelled fresh, with everything we needed. Breakfast was filling and enjoyable. We'll remember this stay fondly and would happily come back if we can.
