Penzion Zelený Háj

We’ve already stayed here twice, and we’d gladly return. The owners are lovely and happy to help with any request. Even with a summer children’s camp running, the forest setting stayed peaceful. It’s a beautiful place.

It’s a lovely, quiet guesthouse, and the rooms are clean and smell fresh. Bringing a dog was no issue. There’s a shared kitchen, plus board and card games. The location is a bit less convenient, though it works well for nature walks and trips. The owner is very pleasant, and we’d be happy to come back.

We came away having had a lovely holiday and, above all, enjoyed the peace. This isn’t a luxury guesthouse, but the owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and keeps improving the place. She’s a friendly, smiling woman, and the maid was pleasant too. Our room was clean and fresh-smelling, with plenty of storage. The softer mattress suited us, and there was a TV and fridge in the room. The hallways were clean as well. Breakfast was brought to our room on a serving tray, which was great. The kitchen has dishes, a coffee maker, microwave, stove, and oven. There’s also a self-service bar with alcoholic and soft drinks, chips, and something sweet. The guesthouse sits where two fairly quiet roads meet, making it a good base for trips around the area. We had everything we needed and definitely recommend it.

The owners were incredibly nice, and nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a successful cycling trip through the beautiful countryside, and I recommend staying here!
