Trebovický Mlýn

We were welcomed by friendly staff, and my room was spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with a large bathroom. The restaurant also felt welcoming, with kind staff, and I ate very well. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful. I'll be back, thank you.

The buffet was so enormous that I almost expected a marching band to show up. I was only there for one night, but it felt as if I were part of the celebration. If you've ever imagined hosting an Indian-style wedding for 500 people, this is the place. The hotel is right by the railway, and trains go past, but somehow they didn't disturb my sleep. Maybe the festive atmosphere drowns them out. You can rest, feast, and picture yourself at a wedding party that never ends.

The first two of our three stays at this hotel were great, but the last one was deeply disappointing because of a theft in our room. After I found an employee and explained what had happened, they tried to sort something out and call someone. We had to leave that day, so we continued by letter. Later, I was told they couldn't help unless I gave the insurance photos of the damaged door lock. But an employee can enter the room with the hotel's own keys, without damaging the door or lock, and they surely know where those keys are kept. The hotel protects its employees and says it can't do anything more. I'm very disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. You're lying now and won't even compensate us for the damage, despite promising compensation when we were there.

We were there for a sports competition at the nearby sports hall, so the location suited us perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and affordable, and the restaurant served nice food too. They had about six beers on tap from industrial breweries. I tried Pilsner Urquell and Radegast 12, and enjoyed both. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. There were also plenty of parking spaces with cameras covering them.
