The owner was caring, and the apartment was clean and nicely furnished in a central part of the Steel City. Being on the ground floor can mean noise from road repairs and other works, and the bedroom is rather small, with even less room in the kitchenette. Still, having a chair in the courtyard right outside the apartment was lovely for breakfast. More than two couples could squeeze in for Colors of Ostrava, too.
The hostess was lovely, and the newly renovated apartment is right in the centre of Ostrava, a great base for exploring. Work was still happening elsewhere in the house, but it didn’t bother us, and there was no street noise. You can park in the yard behind the house. We did miss a small dining table, though apparently one can be added if you ask, and maybe a microwave as well.
There’s private parking, and the place is clean and well equipped. It stayed quiet despite being on the ground floor. The views aren’t much ;)
Great for a city trip. It was quiet even during the work week.
