The room was modern and very clean. The hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to help me.

Pardubice deserves a high rating, too. The accommodation was beautiful and breakfast was great. A special thank you to the woman serving in the wine shop at breakfast for her helpful advice, willingness to assist, and smile. Víno Hruška has always been a safe choice for me: I’ve never been disappointed by its accommodation, services, or wines.

Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet that was regularly replenished, so there was plenty to choose from. We also liked the selection of cheeses, olives, dried meat, pâtés, and really good bread. The staff and the man in charge were friendly and accommodating, and helped us choose wine and snacks. They even made us a salad that wasn’t on the menu, which we appreciated. We spent a weekend at VinoHruška in Pardubice with my girlfriend and were very happy with the stay. It felt welcoming from the start and everything went smoothly. Our room was modern, clean, and well equipped, with a bowl of fruit and wine waiting for us as a nice touch.

The best parts were the large bed, the very spacious bathroom with its lovely round tub, and the cleanliness. There’s also a washing machine, a hairdryer, and convenient parking in the courtyard behind an automatic gate. The toiletries, though, were just a few small bottles of gel and shampoo, and the soap dispenser contained water. The room situation was a big disappointment. Photos in reviews and on the website show only ONE room, the one in the attic. There are other rooms, which seem to be left out of the photos because they’re small and unwelcoming. They’re stuffy, with almost no room for belongings and nowhere to sit. Ours was for two people but had just one chair. The room with the round tub was the opposite, quite cold, though that didn’t bother us as much. Then there was the noise. Across from the attic room is an unnumbered room where some mysterious resident apparently stays. After midnight, they’d come in, stomp ominously up the stairs, knock something over on the way, and slam the door. The acoustics are so good we woke up every time. About an hour later, once we’d finally fallen asleep, another mysterious guest would arrive and knock loudly on that door instead of stomping. Breakfast was another letdown for the fairly high price: it was cold, with very little choice, hard-boiled eggs that were ice cold and apparently from the day before, and capsule coffee. You also have to walk about three minutes from the apartments to the wine shop where it’s served. We expected modern, attractive apartments from the first impression and the photos, but the reality was completely different. We really can’t recommend this kind of “service.” Unfortunately, no…
