The price is fair, and the receptionist is lovely and pleasant, which helps make up for the shortcomings. You need to bring your own bed linen, and the pillows and blankets were in terrible condition, with stains. Guests also have to do the basic cleaning themselves, though that part is probably okay.

There was toilet paper, but we had to pay for it once it was used, and no soap was provided. We also had to bring our own towels and put pillowcases on the bedding. The fees felt hidden: 100 euros for possible damages, refunded after the stay, plus 200 złoty entry and a 250 złoty environmental charge. We were required to clean up before leaving. I don't mind keeping a hotel room tidy, but on holiday I don't want to clean as if I'm at home for someone else. They might as well have asked us to wash the windows.

The bedrooms don't lock, and there aren't bedside lamps for reading. The kitchen has containers with a stove, oven, and microwave, but a better grocery store nearby would help. The heating didn't work, even with winter temperatures down to -10°C, and there were no blankets, just spare duvets. I needed two pillows so my neck wouldn't seize up. You do get a dishwasher, but only two capsules. Other owners took water from our plastic bottle while we were in the sauna, which has to be booked ahead, and I don't think the main owner even tried to address it. His mood was pretty changeable too. It's a shame, because the setting is beautiful and quiet, with a pool, sauna, parking, and decent restaurants. I gave it 3 stars because the owner didn't seem fully prepared to run a hotel at that time. If you stay, come prepared.
