The toilets and eating area were clean, and there’s a free locker that was decent for storing valuables. The room, though, wasn’t as comfortable or clean as I’d hoped. The building is being renovated inside, despite the welcoming receptionist. With no ceiling fan, you have to leave the windows open, which brings in a lot of traffic noise. The Museum metro stop is walkable, and there are plenty of supermarkets and food places nearby.
The place smelled like nobody had opened the windows in years. The rooms were dirty and hadn’t been refurbished, with old furniture and a creepy carpet and bathroom. Staff barely spoke English. I was glad it was only one night, enough to know I’d never come back. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and there must be better places in Prague for the same price.
The reception looks modern, but the rooms are old. It’s almost in the city center and has the basics in the room: a bed, kitchen counter, closet, shower, toilet, and even a small TV. It works if you’re on a budget or don’t plan to spend much time indoors. Just don’t expect luxury.
It’s a cheap and cheerful place, and you get what you pay for. The location is good, close to tourist spots, and the receptionists were helpful. I’d recommend it for young groups who just need somewhere convenient to stay.
We stayed in the apartments and had a very nice time. Everything was perfect except for the lack of air conditioning, but we could live with that. I’d recommend CityStay to everyone I know.
